Modifying a custom form

The functionality Modify a customized formfeature of the K inventory online inventory management application makes it easy to customize existing forms. You can modify the name, category and properties of custom fields to meet the specific needs of your inventory. Thanks to this feature, you can adapt your forms quickly and easily, without compromising the integrity of your data. Find out how to make changes to your K inventory custom forms to optimize your inventory management process.

This feature is not available on the Mobile version.

Customized forms let you set up reference and folder records in relation to one or more categories, by adding custom fields, sections, changing the order of fields, etc.

1. Left-click on Settings then on Custom forms.

2. Click on the Modify icon of the form you wish to modify.

3. You can change the namethe category of form category.

4. Click on and then on Modify field to access the field modification page.

5. You can set the display size of the field, whether it is required or read-only.

To make a field visible for variants & batches, you can select the field visibility in the form.

Visibility of custom form fields

A field with a Required status cannot be left empty by a user.
A field with a Read-only status cannot be modified once the reference has been created.

If the field type is Price it is also possible to define a minimum and maximum value.

6. Click on the Information button to access the general modification page.
