Configuring a Netum C740 or 750 drive

The functionality Configuring a Netum C740 or 750 reader feature on the K inventory online inventory management platform makes it quick and easy to connect a barcode or barcode and Qr-code reader to your computer or tablet.

With K inventory, you can configure your Netum reader in just a few simple steps, without needing any specific technical knowledge.

 

This feature is only available on the Web version.

The presentation covers two models of Netum readers, but the configuration steps are identical. Contactless technologies supported

  • C740 : Barcode reader
  • C750: Barcode and Qr-code reader

1. Connect the player to your computer or tablet using the USB cable or USB key provided.

 

2. On the back of the equipment, set the button to On to switch on and configure the Netum C740 or C750 player

3. To scan a configuration barcode, click on the Read equipment

SERIES MODE

The Serial mode allows you to integrate various pre-established consistency checks. The reading of a value (barcode or RFID) will be carried out in a predefined zone, so there’s no need to position yourself on a particular field; simply being on the page allows you to enter the value in the desired zone.

 

6. Scan the configuration barcode appropriate to the connection mode between reader and computer or tablet

  • Connection via USB cable

KEYBOARD EMULATION MODE

L’Keyboard emulation is a contactless reader communication mode that simulates information input like a keyboard. It is therefore necessary to position the cursor on the field to be modified. The reader writes the barcode value directly into the selected field.

 

7. Scan the configuration barcode appropriate to the connection mode between reader and computer or tablet

  • Connection via USB cable
